I just got through reading a post on mag primers vrs large.  Do you guys think I should use mag primers and stay just a little under max?  I have never heard that about using mag primers in cold weather.  I will be hunting Alberta in Nov.

Maybe just me,but when I know I'm going to be approaching 60gr of powder in a cartridge I'll use mag primers.

I had a friend reload me some 140 gr. 270 partioners.  We are still working up but right now at 57.2gr of H4831sc  the gun shot a real nice consitent 3 shot  group.  The speed was 2890.  We are going to reload a little hotter but I was pretty happy right now. Oh we used cci large rifle primers
