It doesn't matter how much money you have when you have family.  "Things" mean nothing, family is everything...

Merry Christmas to you all from this side of the pond too.
I hope you all will get well through it.

2019 is just around the corner. I hope it will bring a lot of good things to all of us, no matter where you are, and who you are.

At least we are now facing brighter days as the days have started to get longer.

All the best from here.

Claus

I hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas. I know I did.

I sometimes feel like Bob Cratchet from "A Christmas Carol". An under paid, over worked, under appreciated person who still understands and enjoys the true meaning of Christmas, and is thankful for what he has. I just can't say I have a whole lot in common with pre-ghost Bob this year.

Christmas did kinda come up fast and almost ran over me this year.

This was a good Christmas....I had a little money and ordered stuff online! I got the girls each a huge alpaca wool blanket! Meghan freaked! Jordan was taken by surprise....AND I accidentally picked the correct color for each girl even though I had no idea what their bedrooms look like....

....In the Old Days Christmas was a Stressful Time! This year it was GOOD....

I also got the girls a Community gift that they picked over....I got them several books by B Traven and I got a good investigative biography of this mysterious man......I also included MEXICO by James Michener ( a First Edition...) and a book about the Revolution......and I got ONE COPY of Roberto Bolaños mammoth work "2666".......I will have to try to find a more copies....translated from the Spanish....it is hard to find...
