My Mom grew up in FDRs Depression so we always pulled the tinsel off the Christmas tree before we threw the tree out.......we saved it for next year......( we also saved tin foil and string....)

When I was manager of The Party Center club in Nacogdoches, Texas, I booked Vince Vance and the Valiants several times for our "Band Night".  They were always a hit.

Ever been to Cut & Shoot???  Back when I was growing up, there were deputies stationed at both city limits signs.  They stopped every car and asked if you had a knife... if the answer was "no", they gave you a gun...

That was the story that went around when I was a kid... it's Texas... they've got a million of 'em...

The "Old Stone Fort" in Nacogdoches is one of Texas most historical places.  I used to shoot pool with a guy named Gilbert Y'Barbo (name of the Commander who built the Old Stone Fort)... direct descendant.  He was what we called a "flogger"...

A "flogger" in pool shooting is someone who has, basically, one "stroke"... every shot is pretty much the speed and power of a break.  If they miss the pocket, they often hit 4+ rail bank shots... simply because it hits so many rails it finally finds a pocket (and they always act as if the shot was planned... but never called).
Playing floggers is fun... they always think they have a chance to win...

Blocker... when I was playing for big money, sometimes an opponent would run in a "blocker" to try to distract me.  Once had an opponent's girlfriend following me around the table, running her hand up the inside of my legs on every shot.  I told that after I cleaned out her boyfriend she could come to my apartment with me.  She said "If you win... I will".  She caused me to have to concentrate INTENSELY...
I won... she brought a girlfriend... interesting night...

You said name that mountain, and I did. You didn't say "What's the name of that Mountain?". So where's my prize, or do I have to call Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe, Attorneys at Law?
