Well, I am now reading Hemingway. I just finished DOCTOR ZHIVAGO which was a serious novel about serious people in serious circumstances in a world upside down....and now I am reading about Hemingway and his shallow frat-boy, wise-ass buddies talking smart to each other and getting drunk and screwing each other's girlfriends....( except Jake Barnes because he's impotent...)

We are now on the way to the bullfights in Spain but first we have to stop and be smart-asses while fishing for some trout in Spain.....

I think I will start talking like Hemingway writes....

Image result for the washing of the spears

At the book sale a couple of weeks ago I snagged a hardcover copy of The Washing of the Spears by Donald R Morris in MINT condition....I stole it for $4......hee hee

I had read it years before in 1987 just before I left for Africa, amazingly....all about the Zulu Empire and their final fight with the Brits.....

Anyway, I lost my old soft cover years ago when we left Africa and lost all of our furniture and appliances and clothes and stuff....it's another long story....
