How can you tell if LotuTec coating is on your Zeiss scope?

Call Zeiss to be sure. If you are wondering about the Conquest line, no they do not have the hydrophobic coating.

This is the Diavari Victory line! How would Zeiss know-by the serial number? I figured there would be a simple way to tell!

They say on the box and come with a Lotutec sticker on the front obj.  Dunno about a used example.  I'd try emailing the serial # to Zeiss as already suggested.

Pour some water on either the objective or ocular lens.  If the water beads up into small droplets as if they were on a waxed car finish and run off the surface quickly when you tilt the scope, it has LotuTec.
