This took some actual courage on the part of those states.  I am forwarding those links to my state Senators and Representative and plead with them for Texas to follow suit.

This is very encouraging news for once!

I agree and doing it now services as notice to the new 'powers that be' that the rest of us are fed up with all the BS so DON"T PUSH US!

     I keep a .357 magnum Rossi loaded with .38 Specials and a .22 semi-auto loaded.
Yea,I need to get to some reloading myself but I'll wait for the heat of summer. I like to test loads then as that's when pressures are apt to be at their highest. I've got to retest my go to .300 load cause I switched powder lots, work up a load for my 9.3x62mm(I've got a box of factory ammo so no rush),and work up a load for a friends .218 Bee. Not much work ahead I reckon.

yeah,
Last night and this morning I reloaded what I could on my 270Wins and the sons 308s.  I just got my Mojo peeps for my 8mm Mauser so I need to get her sighted in.  Just inventoried the 22LR at about 5K so that should hold a while.  9mm is where I am hurting most.  I'll probably buy some bulk FMJ Milsurps.

I am out of bullets on both the 270 & 308 and low on 8mm, so I am planning on driving into Gettysburg Monday night to Reddings Hardware.  Best in area for reloading supplies and has over 1000 guns for sale.  Really cool old fashion hardware store where youy can get anything from butterchurns to blackpowder.  I get lost in theat place ever time I go. LOL

Hell the way I see it would be for all the Conservative minded folks to move south. The Liberal mush heads move north. Then we'd control the Mexican Border, and the Coastline of the Gulf of Mexico. The drug trade would fall to hell real fast, and it wouldn't take very long for the north to fall totally apart. We would win a HUGE battle for the FREEDOM minded control of this country, and put things back on the right track real fast.

they would all be pissed off at all the accidents they would have envolving whitetailed deer hitting there cars as well since they would run free and uneffected by a lack of hunting too. its  bad enough around here with hunting. my brother in laws wife smacked a deer with her jeep once, and so my bro in law ordered the parts to fix it, it took him a week to fix it. the next day she drove it to work after it was fixed and hit another not 50ft from where she hit the first deer. i have three deer in 7yrs here, my wife hit one. i never hit anything in wyoming or utah or idaho or montana in the 6yrs of driving in those states.

Sounds like you need to relearn how to drive Pyro.  You are suppose to look for and avoid deer.  Laugh

Does anyone know if these resolutions will carry any weight?  Are we just putting the Gov't on notice by doing it?

States Sovereignty was what the Civil War was all about. There is such a thing, which is why we live in a Republic. Yes it carries weight, and yes it does also put the Feds on notice. Each State has it's own Constitution. The thing is there would be nothing to prevent a run amok Federal Government from declaring war (cold/hot) against those States.

It probably will not help with anything, but it will make a point in telling everyone in Washington that ya’ll/we are feed up with the crap but it will not change a thing.

These are resolutions not laws so they don't have any legal force.  That is not the way it is supposed to be or the way it was written in the constitution.  This just shows how far the Fed has abused it's power.

These "resolutions" should be enough according to the Constitution.  The states are supposed to be the masters.  Federalism began establishing the precedent that it is the master just after the Civil War.

Today, it is taken for granted that the Fed IS the master.
