I have been looking for an excuse to get this thing.  I just need to figure out what rifle it will go on.

Just get a new rifle for the scope while you are at it (channeling Rifledude).

You just have a 'similar in appearance, gun' and willing to be a little devious.   Adding more is as easy making a show of taking "cased" guns to the range. Then take an empty case to the range (gunstore etc.)
As long as you quietly return Noone should notice....

If you can get into the habit of buying old blued wood and steel you can truthfully respond when your good lady life asks "Is that a new gun?" Response: "This old thing? No!!"
Was sure I had a point when I started this post...

Well, to be more specific. Eye relief  seems a a bit short on this essentially good idea of a scope.

Eye relief is short, though I have it on an AR15, so no problem there.

For the money, it is a good scope. Don't expect Swaro glass or view, but forthe money, it is quite good.

Short eye relief is the main thing that has kept me from buying that scope. It’s the result of some design decisions I can understand, though. In order to keep ocular diameter sufficiently small to keep weight low and at the same time maintain sufficiently large FOV, eye relief was sacrificed. That’s not necessarily “wrong” or “bad;” it’s just the trade off that was made. For my purposes, ER is a bit too short, but others won’t have issue with it. I would have wanted at least another half inch for the types of rifles I’d mount this scope on. Regardless, it’s a remarkably light scope, and I applaud SWFA for coming out with such a compelling lightweight scope option.

This is a set and forget scope and I don't see the utility in that.

I would not mid seeing some version of Mil-Quad in there.  Perhaps, a version of the design they used in the now discontinued SFP 3-15x42 could be used.

At 10x, you can reach pretty far out there.  I think having three reticles: simple duplex, BDC (upcoming) and some version of the MQ would really round out the product line.
