Optically it compares well to the PST. I too noticed that at the higher Mag ranges it was a bit picky about address. I also, if memory serves me correctly got my hands on a newer model at the gun show here in December, It had illuminated reticle. My girl friend and I were there shopping for her Christmas gift, and I looked at several scopes so, I may be a tad fuzzy about any one scope in particular. This one for the price point did impress me a fair bit.

Diamondback Tactical does not have an illuminated reticle, at least according to Vortex.   I don't know why.   Perhaps it would increase the price too much.  Still a lot of scope for the price.  The more I shoot with it, the better I like it.  Still wish it was illuminated.
