FWIW. It's supposed to storm here tonight with high winds. The local weather people are having orgasms of doom and gloom. I don't know how we survived so long without their concern for us, before they came along. The old weathermen just gave a forecast and were wrong most of the time.

Mrs. DCamm and I get pretty tickled when every time the weather is supposed to dip below freezing down here the weather folks start calling it an "arctic blast."  So melodramatic.  Kind of like the announcers talking about how the ice dancers are "throwing it down out there."

Before I get any comments about watching that crap, my daughters love it, so I watch it.

Get this....The Farmer's Almanac has been correct for the last 197 years, while the Left Wing Loonies have been dead wrong about the weather predictions and Climate Change!!  hahaaha

Yesterday, Our Brain-Dead-In-Chief was jabbering on about 'irrefutable scientific proof' about Global Warming.....( what a jackass....)

WE have irrefutable proof that he is a Freaking Totalitarian Communist....

Afternoon comrades

My compooter was down. Had to get the tech heads to come look at it. They had to get the tech wizard (you know, that one guy who knows where all the wires go, and knows which wire to cut to shut down everything) to track down and fix the problem. Just got the thing running a few minutes ago.

Well as I suspected, last nights storm was overblown. Little rain, little lightening and thunder, and some stiff winds and that was about it.

The biggest disaster last night; my favorite Mexican restaurant burned to the ground. Now I have to travel half way across the county to get decent Mexican food.

Wow, that is an epic disaster, Lynn.  Maybe you should buy a sombrero and start cooking tamales.

You should visit here. There are at least 5 Tamale trailers in view of the office. According to ICE report 2 weeks ago Oklahoma has the highest number of illegal hispanics of all other states. Mexican eateries out number any other type of resturants 4 to 1.

There are plenty of Mexican eateries in the area, but very few that I trust, or are too expensive for what you get. This one has been around for almost 20 years, had good food (taste and quality), and had reasonable prices.

You also didn't have to worry about a gang banger shoot out in the parking lot, or a ICE or DEA raid while waiting for your order.

My brother really likes Mexican food. Lived in L.A. area too long. He said Nastyville doesn't know what real Mexican food is, but he liked the here that burned down.

Speaking of fires.... really seems to be the season for them!!!  Lile better watch himself out there!!!

While I was busy whining about loosing power for four days my co-worker drove home after work that Friday to find his entire apartment wing GONE, burned to the ground.  He lost everything he wasn't wearing....  talk about an empty sinking feeling!!!!  Evidentally the fire started in the apartment directly below his...  He's been living in a hotel since.  Thank God he had the sense to get renters insurance...

When I moved from Wilminton to Chapel Hill when I graduated I rented a top floor apartment in a nice area.   I signed a 12 month lease and had all intentions of living there for a while.  only ended up staying for 6 due to issues that came up and the complex not performing repairs need to stay there.  3 months after I broke lease and left the apartment under mine caught on fire when a incense stick fell on the carpet.  The entire building was gone.  Glad I left when I did.

My cash flow ...ain't since everybody moved out...  Bad as I need I I loath the idea of having a renter or housemate.
I could bring in $1500 to 2000 a month if I rented two upstairs rooms and the entire basement as an in-law apartment, but..... I love my privacy and independence... Cool
