The best guns are the ones with great family memories.  The 44mag revolver is one of the ones for me.  Lots of memories of me and dad at the range.

Picked up a used Winchester 70 Classic Super Grade 3 on Tuesday, .30-06. My first Winchester and I am lovin it so far. Waiting on some Talley's to come in, so I went ahead and used existing Burris bases w/Luepold rings. Put a SB 3-12X42 #A7 on it and sighted it in Wednesday. Took it hunting yesterday evening and broke it in!

Beautiful rifle and outstanding "first hunt" results.  Good on ya…
Congratulations on the find and the hunt… certainly a good start for Christmas presents...
