I have a Nikon 16-48 XLII spotter which I'll be using for elk, deer and antelope hunting in Arizona.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a good compact tripod to pack with the scope?  Also, window mount recommendations for this spotter would also be appreciated.  Thanks for any advice.

Check how much weight you are wanting the tripod to support and how light you want the tripod to be. The more weight it has to support and if you want light the price goes up, carbon fiber is light and strong and expensive but nice to carry around. I would call the people at SWFA and tell them what you want to mount and carry and see what they recommend.
