Got an Accumark that I need to scope. Shoots very well and I want to take advantage of its long range capabilities. Now I do have an SWFA 5-20x50mm scope but it weighs 2 lbs. Not a huge deal breaker but was wondering if any other scopes in that price range (when/if I sell) will do with the same clarity, toughness, and repeatability with less weight and bulk.   What model and power?

Thanks.

I have the same rifle.  It is carrying a Swaro Z6 3-18X50 plex reticle on it with the Ballistic Turret.  It has some of the finest glass I've ever looked through. I am not a fan of the BT though.  It will not give full rotation of the turret, so you have a limit on distance.  If I were to be buying a scope for it today I would get the Zeiss V6 3-18x50 with the extended turret and #6 reticle.

What magnification range and size are you looking for?

Are you looking for a FFP or SFP option?  and what is long range to you?

Generally, the 5-20x50 SS is hard to beat in its price range if you are looking for a durable FFP scope with a good track record.

30-378 needs a scope? I thought you just let it off in the general direction of your intended quarry and it the bullet didn't find its mark, the muzzle blast would get it..? ;)
Was sure I had a point when I started this post...
