After watching the Burris video on here the other day and having bought a couple of guns this year.........and set them up.........I was a little suprised at this latest one !! May not be a big deal to the more knowledgable folks around here but was pretty awesome to me !!

Bought a Rem. 700 xcr compact .223. I got a EGW picatinny 0 moa base and Burris XTR low rings. I put on a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x44 on it . I got out my trusty laser bore sighter(already been well worth it's money) and went to sight it in.............and it was virtually dead on from the get-go. I have not had one like that yet (between me and some buddies) since I got the bore sighter. Anyway.......a few clicks up and it was dead on.......now have to go shoot  for real but the other guns were pretty close by the laser !!

I don't know if it's the ring/base set up or I just got lucky...........but man......couldn't believe it was so close right off the bat !!

Not only is it the ring base set up that is correctly made but the biggest portion of the equasion is the scope was made right and shipped with the adjustments centered. That is how it is supposed to be but seldom is. Great Scope. Good Luck with the rig.
