Gentlemen

Im looking for a Harris bipod for my Sako Forester to buy online. It has heavy barrel and a big flat platform where the bipod is attached. Im wondering if all bipods fit on my Sako or if I have to look for special ones?

Thankx

I've got the 9-13" with notched legs (http://www.swfa.com/pc-4271-894-harris-ultralight-lm-s-series-bipod.aspx) which has been a good length for most of the hunting I do. I wouldn't mind occasionally having more length but would not enjoy carrying it. The Pod-Loc is a good accessory to really take advantage of the swiveling head...should just be standard equipment since the regular locking nut can't really be used by hand.

Good point JonoMT. I think I prefer a bit longer bipod.  My main concern is if the Harris will fit my rifle or if I need some adapter?  Here is a picture of a rifle that is pretty much the same as mine.

Moto,
I have never seen an adaoptor for a sling bracket like that. I'm sure someone somewhere makes one. You might be able to remove ( unscrew) the loop and stud and replace it with a single nonlooped stud and change to an uncle mikes end on your sling.this way you can mount the bipod on the rifle and the sling to the bipod. i'll do some serching and see if something is made to fit this rifle with out modifing it.
