I love that movie "ZULU". A classic tale of good tactics, discipline, and determination winning against superior numbers, and determination.

My brother has a couple Martini Henry's; one is a .22lr trainer. I've shot the 22 and it's very accurate.

On New Year's Eve 1987-1988, a man in Johannesburg shot a 577 off into the sky at midnight.  It may have been a 577 Snider...I can't remember....anyway, the slug came down and hit a man sitting on his stoop a mile or so away, and he was killed, I believe.  Maybe he just lost a kidney ( it was a long time ago...)

Anyway, months later in 1988, the police finally pinpointed the location of the shot, based upon mathematical figuring. The man was arrested and convicted.

The Greener Martini-Henry 13 gauge shotgun.  I have a loaded shotgun shell for one of these.  It's a necked cartridge.....read all about it below....

Jean Seberg surpasses herself in practically a One-Woman Show.  What a Good Movie!

You would never believe she was just 23.  She could have given lessons to Meryl Streep and Shirley MacLaine.

Glenn Ford was about the fastest gunman of all the movie stars.  Actually, in Fast Draw Competitions, the two fastest competitors were Jerry Lewis and Sammy Davis Jr.   Glenn was like...third.  But, among Western Actors who actually made Westerns, he was the fastest.
